We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BTP Integration Architect to join an international project, with strong expertise in integration design and architecture within SAP BTP environments.
This role requires a hands-on professional with solid experience in designing, implementing, and governing complex integration landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define end-to-end integration architecture using SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Lead integration strategy across SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, third-party applications)
- Develop and optimize iFlows, APIs, and event-driven integrations
- Ensure best practices in scalability, security, and performance
- Act as a technical reference for integration topics within the team
- Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into integration solutions
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
- Proven expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh)
- Solid background in SAP S/4HANA integrations
- Hands-on experience with integration patterns, iFlows, and APIs
- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous integrations
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting is a strong plus
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (REST, SOAP, SFTP, etc.)
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP BTP Integration Architecture roles
- Strong architectural mindset (not only development)
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon
- Valid working visa for Portugal
- Good communication skills and ability to work in international environments
- Fluent English (mandatory)
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh
- Previous experience in large-scale or international projects
- Knowledge of integration governance and best practices
